Pop Warner Football has been around since 1929 and has been a huge factor in shaping the lives of many young men. Over 240,000 youths participated in Pop Warner-sanctioned football programs in 2004, and those numbers are continuing to grow today, helping to instill teamwork and responsibilities into our children which they hold on to long after Pop Warner is over.
What to Expect Our tackle football program begins practice August 1. The first 2 weeks are conditioning. You can expect to practice Monday - Friday during conditioning. Most teams will then go to 4 days a week, and then drop to 3 days a week after Labor Day. The practice schedules are set by each team's head coach. ALL paperwork: Pop Warner Physical, Pop Warner Consent Form, copy of child's birth certificate, 2 complete year copies of report card, must be turned in BEFORE any player is allowed to begin practice.
Tackle Football Equipment Hand Out Team Times Saturday, July 16 Please have players arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled time. Parents must be present to sign for issued equipment.
